This year, the VFW concept is "diversity". Because this is the stage for a collection that creates an era, we will use this stage to express our desire for an all-inclusive society and fashion.
As we see and hear more and more about the current situation of the representation issues in Japan, which is still overlooked, sometimes underestimated and inaccurately portrayed in mainstream media and marketing, we decided to organise a post-VFW triumphant event in order to challenge the world stage with the members having different attributes, to convey what we have seen, heard and experienced during this VFW challenges, and to further promote the promotion of diversity in Japan (DE&I - Diversity, Equity and Inclusion).

「Fashion Values Society-3 DAYS TO UNDERSTAND, EXPERIENCE, AND ENGAGE WITH DE&I」will have content that is exclusive to this event. Some of the content will require advance bookings, so please check this article and the additional information to be published in the future to find out what you can experience, and we hope that many of you will be able to attend!
During the first three days from Tuesday 14 - Thursday 16 May, we have「Fashion Values Society-3 DAYS TO UNDERSTAND, EXPERIENCE, AND ENGAGE WITH DE&I at Shibuya Hikarie Creative Space 8/ (Hachi), we will have content that will engage you in learning and feeling about the VFW and DE&I on the spot only at the event. The second half of the whole event, from Friday, 17 May to Sunday, 19 May, SHOWROOM is designed as a place where everyone who shares SOLIT's vision can relax, talk over a cup of coffee, try on items, and shop. This will be an opportunity to see and hear directly from the models on the runway, and to purchase VFW outfits and items for on-sale, so don't miss it!

3DAYS EVENT CONTENTS
For those who would like to interact with SOLIT members at a more approachable and relaxed atmosphere, this event is the best occasion for you. It will be divided into several areas, each designed to allow you to see, hear, and learn, or to take your time in selecting items with our staff. We hope you will enjoy your preferred method of participation.
Display Area「Three challenges and solutions」（No reservation required）
In this area, visitors can see and experience the background to the challenges at this year's VFW, what happened at the collection and the clothing actually worn by the models. In particular, exhibits have been prepared that refer to the three challenges and solutions that became important from DE&I's point of view during this fashion show.
1）Diversity of models (a solution to de-fixing beauty).
2）Clothing display (solutions to clothing challenges).
3）Representation(Resolving the challenges of diversity of people).
The exhibition can be visited at any time during the exhibition.
Reservations are not required, so please feel free to drop by while you are shopping or working.

New and limited items SHOWROOM
In this area, you can touch and try on various SOLIT items, try them on for comfort, and if you like them, you can purchase them on the spot. Our staff will be happy to assist you in trying on and purchasing items, so please feel free to ask for assistance!
The following four items will be available for purchase or order on this occasion.
● Costume for Vancouver Fashion Collection
SOLIT is creating new items to celebrate our entry in the fashion collection. The VFW costumes will be available for order until the end of May for a limited time, but this is the only opportunity to see and try on the actual items. To avoid missing out, we hope you will take this opportunity to see the actual items, check how they are designed and how comfortable they are, and consider purchasing them.
● Items for sale on the spot
We have several items available on the spot for those who “want to buy SOLIT items but don't have time to wait for an order”! If the size fits, it may be a fateful encounter. We hope you will find your favorite item.
● PROJECT AWAKE
At SOLIT, we call deadstock items 'AWAKE', which means that products that have been sleeping in our warehouse are awakened from their sleep when they are found by someone who will wear them with care. AWAKE is a one-of-a-kind item that can only be purchased at this event, as it is not usually available for order online. Please take this opportunity to experience “sustainable” and “ethical” shopping!

● Made-to-order (general) items
For those who “want to try it on, take measurements, and have an item customized just for you,” our staff can assist you in taking measurements and ordering an item on the spot. We can also consult with you on customization to suit your everyday lifestyle and needs, such as making the sleeves a little shorter, or making the back longer because you don't want the back to show, etc.
If you have an item that you have not been able to afford but have been curious about, please feel free to order an item that is uniquely yours!

For us, this post-VFW event is not just an event, but an important opportunity to play a part in promoting DE&I in Japan, and we hope that it will be a step toward making DE&I more widely known.
